(I carried my new Clare Vivier messenger bag all weekend, it is a perfect size to store all my SF findings. If you haven't checked out her classic soft creations, you really should! She also keeps a great blog.)
With my birthday just a week away, my boyfriend planned a quick weekend getaway. We drove up to SF despite the rainy forecast and had the time of our lives. The weather held up beautifully, we ate almost every meal out of a bag, while walking to another destination, searched around the deserted financial district looking for an open pharmacy, contemplated on peting a sunbathing seal, played antique arcade games, drove down Lombard st., slept to the sound of firecrackers from the Chinese New Year parade, stumbled upon WWI army barracks, and saw just a glimpse of the Gold Gate bridge. I wondered the entire time, if someone lived in San Francisco, why would they ever leave?
The eye of the tiger.
